The company is conducting specialized training on the management and practical handling of hazardous and solid waste.

On November 30, the company organized a specialized training session on "Management and Practical Guidelines for Hazardous and Solid Waste" for team leaders and above-level managers in the large conference room on the second floor of the office building. The training was delivered by Chen Zhihui, Assistant to the General Manager and Head of the Safety & Environmental Protection Department. During the session, Chen Zhihui tailored the presentation to the company’s specific circumstances, covering four key areas: the composition of Huazircon’s solid waste, the requirements outlined in the national "Solid Waste Law," best practices for managing such waste, as well as relevant management standards, inspection frequencies, and penalty provisions. He also explained the types of hazardous and solid waste generated across various departments and units within the company, along with their respective disposal methods. Additionally, he provided insights into the company’s internal policies regarding hazardous and solid waste management, clearly defining the management standards, inspection schedules, and corresponding penalties. To conclude the training, participants were assessed through a written test designed to reinforce their understanding of the material covered. Strengthening the control of solid waste pollution is crucial for safeguarding ecological and environmental resources, fostering sustainable socio-economic development, and enhancing the overall quality of people’s living environments. The recent enactment of the new "Solid Waste Law" not only enhances oversight and governance over solid waste pollution but also drives improvements in everyday waste management practices, contributing to broader socio-economic progress. Moreover, it plays a pivotal role in raising public awareness about environmental protection among Chinese citizens, reflecting the nation’s unwavering commitment to addressing solid waste-related environmental challenges and prioritizing the health and well-being of its people.
