Huazircon and Huaxiang Hold 2024 Year-End Performance Review Meetings

On January 13, the "HuaZhu & HuaXiang 2024 Year-End Performance Review Meeting" was held in the multi-purpose hall of the HuaZhu Comprehensive Building, bringing together nearly 80 representatives from functional departments and employees. Chairman Yang Hui and General Manager Shi Yan attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

At the meeting, 26 senior and mid-level managers delivered performance reports, covering key areas such as the achievement of critical objectives, notable accomplishments and lessons learned, identified challenges along with corrective measures, the 2025 work plan, and suggestions for the company’s or their department’s future growth. Attendees then provided anonymous on-site ratings for each presenter. The meeting aimed to review successes, pinpoint areas for improvement, strengthen accountability and operational awareness, clarify strategic directions and priorities, foster team collaboration, and ultimately lay a solid foundation for the smooth execution of all production and business activities at Huazircon and Huaxiang in 2025.

General Manager Shi Yan briefly highlighted the key achievements of each department and workshop from the previous year in his speech. He expressed gratitude to all employees for their unwavering dedication, collaborative efforts, resilience in overcoming challenges, and determination to tackle tough times—efforts that have truly paid off. Additionally, he announced the main production and business targets for Huazircon and Huaxiang in 2025. Looking ahead to 2025, he outlined eight strategic priorities: 1. Focus intently on two critical areas—cost reduction and efficiency enhancement—and integrate these initiatives into daily operations. 2. Strengthen comprehensive control across the entire process, from raw materials to production and final products, while striving to maximize the first-grade yield rate of Industrial Grade Zirconium Sponge. At the same time, accelerate the construction of Huaxiang’s Phase II project. 3. With the goal of achieving "high productivity, superior quality, and minimal resource consumption," vigorously push forward all technical upgrade projects and equipment modernization efforts. 4. Establish and refine a robust KPI-based performance evaluation system, ensuring steady progress in performance management. 5. Further solidify the foundation of safety and environmental management, aiming for seamless, all-encompassing, and fully integrated safety and environmental oversight across every aspect of operations. 6. Continuously enhance the company’s innovation capabilities to sustain long-term growth and competitiveness. 7. Build upon our existing customer base while actively expanding into new market segments to broaden product reach.8. Continue advancing enterprise-wide IT infrastructure development to enhance overall management efficiency and strengthen the company’s core competitive edge.

Chairman Yang Hui emphasized in his speech that 2025 is the decisive and make-or-break year for both Huazircon and Huaxiang companies, as they will continue to face numerous challenges and tough obstacles. In particular, Huaxiang is at a critical juncture in its strategic transformation—there’s no room for retreat; it must fight with everything on the line. He urged everyone across the company to unite wholeheartedly, staying firmly focused on the "Four Guarantees" outlined by the board of directors: ensuring safe and environmentally friendly production, maintaining high-quality and stable product performance, achieving cost-effective operations, and continuously enhancing innovation capabilities. By paying meticulous attention to every detail, tackling key issues head-on, addressing crucial operational links effectively, and ensuring seamless execution at each stage, we can work together pragmatically to break through existing barriers and secure a triumphant victory in 2025.
