7 Month 18 On the day, Dean Lu Shaowei of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Party Secretary Lu Nan, Vice Dean Zhang Zhanwei, Deputy Party Secretary Zhao Yafeng, along with a delegation of faculty representatives, arrived. 15 People visited the company to conduct a business outreach and job development research activity. Deputy General Managers Wang Zebin and Wu Bin, along with Assistant to the General Manager Li Xiaoyi, welcomed Lu Shaowei and her team and accompanied them throughout the调研.
During the seminar, Wang Zebin shared insights into the company’s strategic development, core business strategies, technological strengths, and its urgent need for highly qualified talent. Meanwhile, Lu Shaowei provided an overview of the college, highlighting its distinctive academic disciplines, specialized programs, research advantages, and notable achievements in cultivating top-notch professionals. He also emphasized that the event aimed to deepen collaboration between the university and industry, while expanding students' career opportunities. Both sides engaged in a thorough discussion on areas such as establishing internship and training facilities, as well as aligning industry-academia-research projects.
Vice General Manager Wang Zebin, representing the company, signed the Party Branch Co-construction Agreement with Liu Teng, Secretary of the College’s First Faculty Party Branch. Meanwhile, Assistant to the General Manager Li Xiaoyi, also on behalf of the company, inked the Employment and Internship Base Co-construction Agreement with Zhao Yafeng, Deputy Secretary of the College’s Party Committee.
Additionally, accompanied by company leaders, college administrators conducted an on-site visit and inspection of the company’s Control Center.
Dean Lu Shaowei and his delegation expressed that this visit to enterprises for job development and research purposes successfully established a bridge for communication and collaboration between the college and industry, marking the beginning of a new chapter in partnership across multiple areas—including talent cultivation, research cooperation, and joint Party building initiatives. Moving forward, the college will continue to embrace an open and collaborative mindset, actively strengthening its ties with businesses, exploring innovative models of university-industry co-education, and consistently enhancing the quality of talent development.
