The two companies hold their 2025 Safety Production Conference.

In early January 2025, the HuaZhu and HuaXiang Safety Production Conference was held in the multi-functional hall of the HuaZhu Comprehensive Building. Over 80 participants attended, including senior executives from both companies, heads of key departments and workshops, as well as employee representatives from various levels. The meeting was chaired by Vice General Manager Wu Bin. The conference theme was "Sailing Through Storms Together, Breaking Barriers to Tackle Challenges, and Achieving New Heights—Striving Toward the Full Realization of HuaZhu and HuaXiang’s 2025 Annual Safety (and Environmental Protection) Management Goals."

The meeting began with Chen Zhihui, Director of Safety and Environmental Protection, delivering the "2024 Annual Safety and Environmental Protection Work Report for Huazircon and Huaxiang Companies." He reviewed the past year’s safety and environmental efforts across six key areas: "thoroughly implementing corporate responsibility, launching a comprehensive safety and environmental target management accountability system; strengthening risk-based tiered control and hazard identification/management; enhancing employee safety training and education; effectively carrying out the monthly environmental governance campaign; advancing digital safety management; and further promoting digital safety practices." He also highlighted both the achievements made and the areas where improvements are still needed. Following this, representatives at various levels—from the Chairman to the General Manager, from the General Manager to the Deputy General Managers, from the Deputy General Managers to workshop directors, from workshop directors to team leaders, and finally from team leaders to individual employees—signed the 2025 Safety and Environmental Protection Responsibility Agreements during the meeting. Additionally, representatives from each department, workshop, team, and individual employees pledged their commitment to fulfilling their respective safety and environmental responsibilities.

General Manager Shi Yan outlined the 2025 work plan, emphasizing that all levels of management must prioritize ensuring the safety of employees’ lives and property. Building on current achievements, she called for leveraging five key areas—referred to as "five further steps"—to wholeheartedly elevate safety production management to a new level. First, further deepen the development of safety production management systems and refine the existing safety management framework. Second, strengthen the implementation of primary responsibilities to guarantee that all management systems are effectively put into practice. Third, enhance capabilities in safety, environmental monitoring, and early warning systems, enabling prompt detection and resolution of potential risks. Fourth, reinforce daily safety inspections across all workshops, proactively addressing any emerging hazards before they escalate into incidents. Finally, intensify safety oversight and training efforts to boost employees' awareness of self-protection measures.

In his speech, Chairman Yang Hui praised the achievements made in safety and environmental protection over the past year, while emphasizing that safety and environmental protection are of paramount importance—there are no small matters. He stressed that only by prioritizing these critical areas can enterprises truly pursue sustainable growth. To this end, he urged the company to make significant, concrete efforts in strengthening organizational structures, refining management systems, fostering a robust safety mindset, and enhancing professional expertise. Chairman Yang also encouraged all employees to take personal responsibility, viewing this meeting as both the kickoff event and a rallying call for 2025’s safety and environmental initiatives. Together, let’s work tirelessly toward achieving our annual goals for safety, environmental management, and overall business performance.
