On the morning of April 26, the groundbreaking ceremony for the 8.4MW distributed photovoltaic project of Chaoyang County Huazhuo and Huaxiang New Materials Co., Ltd. was held in front of the new comprehensive building of Huazhuo New Materials.

Liu Jianchao, Member of the Standing Committee of Chaoyang County Party Committee, Executive Deputy County Mayor, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Executive Deputy Director of the Development Zone; Leng Zhenming, Deputy Director of the Development Zone; Yang Hui, Chairman of the company, and Shi Yan, General Manager; Hong Tao, Chief Engineer of Shanghai Electric Investment & Integration New Energy Development Co., Ltd. under State Power Investment Corporation; Cao Yu, Project Leader for the Huazircon and Huaxiang Distributed Photovoltaic Projects; Yu Jiaming, Project Manager from Liaoning Runxinyuan Engineering Construction Co., Ltd.; and Wang Haijing, General Manager of Liaoning Zhongneng Consulting & Management Co., Ltd., attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

Liu Jianchao pointed out in his speech that Huazircon and Huaxiang, while rigorously focusing on product quality and steadily strengthening their competitive edge, have consistently embraced the concept of green development and accelerated innovation. As a result, they have emerged as industry leaders. The official commencement of the 8.4MW distributed photovoltaic project at Huazircon and Huaxiang New Materials Co., Ltd. marks a significant step forward for the company as it not only reinforces its core business but also ventures into the clean energy sector—clearly demonstrating a practical commitment to President Xi Jinping’s strategies on peaking carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality. This initiative is of great importance in driving industrial restructuring within the development zone and fostering sustainable, low-carbon growth. He emphasized that the Chaoyang County Party Committee, County Government, and the Development Zone Management Committee are fully committed to ensuring the smooth implementation of the project. Liu encouraged both companies to prioritize safety, adopt scientific construction methods, and strive to deliver a world-class project that will contribute significantly to the high-quality development of the entire development zone.

It is reported that the project has a total designed capacity of 8.4 MW and will be carried out in two phases. The first phase, at the Hua Zircon plant site, will have a capacity of 2.4 MW and is expected to be completed within 95 days. The second phase, at the Hua Xiang plant site, will feature a capacity of 5.98 MW and is projected to finish in 138 days. Once the project is completed and operational, it will generate over 10 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually, significantly reducing the company's energy costs while providing strong support for its green and sustainable development. Additionally, the project will contribute to environmental protection and help achieve energy-saving and emission-reduction goals.
