On September 5, Xu Yanhui, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Division at the Shenyang Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, along with Yuan Ziyao, a staff member from the same division, visited Huazircon and Huaxiang in Chaoyang City for a research and exchange meeting, accompanied by Chang Zhixin, Deputy Director of the Chaoyang City Bureau of Science and Technology. Wang Zebin, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of the companies, welcomed the delegation. Also attending the exchange were Ye Danwang, Chief Engineer of Sanxiang New Materials, and Li Xiaoyi, Assistant to the Company’s General Manager.
To better facilitate the Chinese Academy of Sciences' (CAS) outreach initiative in Chaoyang, strengthen scientific and technological collaboration between local enterprises in the region and the Shenyang Branch of CAS, and promote the effective alignment of scientific achievements, the Chaoyang Science and Technology Bureau has invited the Shenyang Branch of CAS to conduct a research and exchange visit to Chaoyang. This initiative aims to align closely with industry needs, helping enterprises precisely connect with relevant scientific and technological innovations developed by institutions under the Shenyang Branch of CAS, thereby boosting the commercialization rate of scientific outcomes and enhancing the innovation capabilities of local businesses.
Wang Zebin warmly welcomed the arrival of the Shenyang Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and provided an overview of how Huazircon and Huaxiang, both subsidiaries of the parent company Sanxiang New Materials, are integrated into the broader industry chain as upstream and downstream partners. He shared details about the companies' ongoing construction, production processes, technological advancements, and capacity expansion, while also highlighting the technical challenges and issues they’ve encountered during actual manufacturing operations. Wang emphasized that innovation is the perpetual driving force behind corporate growth, expressing his sincere hope to collaborate with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and benefit from its expertise and support.
Xu Yanhui briefly introduced the basic overview of the Shenyang Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, its key functions and responsibilities, the main purpose of this visit for research, as well as its technological strengths and research achievements in the relevant industrial sectors. She emphasized that the Shenyang Branch will fully leverage its role as a vital bridge, connecting enterprises with their technical needs, fostering stronger mutual exchanges, and exploring deeper, higher-level collaborations. Ultimately, this initiative aims to help companies address real-world challenges and support their sustainable growth and development.
