On the afternoon of July 5, Huazircon New Materials and Huaxiang New Materials jointly hosted the 2023 "Huazircon & Huaxiang Cup" Safety Knowledge Competition in the multi-purpose hall of the Huazircon Comprehensive Building, marking the successful conclusion of the two companies' Safety Month activities.

Twenty-three grassroots units from the two companies formed 10 representative teams, with a total of 70 employees participating in the competition. Each team showcased their determination and confidence in winning the contest, as well as their strong sense of mission and responsibility toward safe production, by delivering loud and unified slogans. Chairman Yang Hui and Executive Deputy General Manager Zhao Dongsheng attended the event, while Deputy General Manager Wu Bin and Director of Safety & Environmental Protection Chen Zhihui served as the chief and deputy judges, respectively. Meanwhile, Ruan Jingwu, Deputy Director of Chaoyang City’s Emergency Management Bureau; Lu Guoli, Director of Chaoyang County’s Emergency Management Bureau; Liu Wangming, Deputy Director; Wu Chunyu, Chief of Ershizijia Town Police Station; Instructor Mei Yaowen; and other relevant park leaders were on-site to observe the competition.

To deeply implement and carry out the safety month theme of "Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond," this competition combined theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice, featuring a total of eight engaging rounds. These included four theoretical segments—such as mandatory team questions, fast-paced team collaboration challenges, safety-themed knowledge relays, and high-stakes risk-based quizzes—and four practical sessions focusing on mastering three methods of tying safety ropes, donning lightweight protective gear, properly equipping positive-pressure air respirators, and demonstrating effective on-site emergency response techniques. Throughout the event, participants remained fully focused: their eyes lit up during the theory rounds, while in the practical tasks, they eagerly competed against one another. The atmosphere at the venue was electric, with each round bringing new excitement and intensity. Judges provided immediate feedback and scored participants based on their performance throughout the competition.

This event fully showcased the talents of employees from both companies, further strengthened their awareness of safe production, solidified their knowledge in this area, and enhanced the organization's safety capabilities and management standards—earning high praise from leaders of various government departments who observed the event firsthand.
