May 29 On [date], the School of Metallurgy at Northeastern University organized a visit and study tour for 30 current doctoral and master's students, led by Dean Han Qing, to the companies Huazircon and Huaxiang. Mr. Shi Yan, General Manager, welcomed Dean Han Qing and his delegation.
During the seminar, General Manager Shi Yan briefly introduced the overall status and development vision of the two companies to faculty and students, expressing his welcome for graduates to leverage their talents at Huazircon and Huaxiang, contributing both to their personal career growth and to the companies' success. Dean Han Qing encouraged students to stay informed about the thriving zirconium-titanium industry in Chaoyang, as well as the ongoing developments at Huazircon and Huaxiang, urging them to excel academically during their studies and apply their knowledge effectively after graduation.
Through the on-site visit, students gained a thorough understanding of the two companies' flagship products—Industrial Grade Zirconium Sponge and zirconium oxychloride—including their physical states, production processes, product application areas, and insights into the upstream and downstream industry chains, further enhancing their knowledge of these two products and the broader industries involved.
Vice General Manager Wang Zebin, Assistant to the General Manager and Director of the R&D Center Li Xiaoyi, Associate Professor Chen Jianshe from the School of Metallurgy at Northeastern University, along with Lecturer Li Binchuan, attended the event.
