During a research visit to Chaoyang County, Dan Yi emphasized the importance of pursuing green development, strengthening technological innovation, extending and reinforcing industrial chains, and striving for new breakthroughs in all-round revitalization.

On April 17, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Dan Yi, visited Chaoyang County for a research visit. He emphasized the need to fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the outcomes of the Two Sessions, while also following the provincial and municipal committees' strategic plan for achieving new breakthroughs in revitalization over the next three years. Secretary Dan underscored the importance of pursuing green development, strengthening technological innovation, extending and reinforcing industrial chains, and firmly advancing high-quality growth to energetically drive forward comprehensive revitalization and unlock new opportunities for success. Wang Likan, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Party Secretary-General, accompanied him during the visit.

"How is the project construction progressing?" "How’s the progress in attracting upstream and downstream enterprises?" "What are the key advantages and unique features of your production processes?" "Are there any remaining challenges that need to be addressed?" In Chaoyang Liucheng Economic Development Zone, Shan Yi visited Liaoning Huaxiang New Materials Co., Ltd. and Chaoyang Lianqiang Roll Co., Ltd., touring workshops, observing production lines, listening to detailed presentations, and discussing future prospects—gaining a comprehensive understanding of each company’s project development, process workflows, technological innovations, and product applications. Noting how new materials, advanced processes, and cutting-edge technologies are fully integrated into the companies’ production systems, Shan Yi urged officials from Chaoyang County and business leaders to fully, accurately, and comprehensively implement the new development philosophy. He emphasized leveraging Chaoyang County’s specialized theme park dedicated to non-ferrous metal new materials, maintaining the county’s strong momentum in pursuing the “one county, one industry” strategy, and accelerating efforts to attract both upstream and downstream businesses. The goal is to swiftly establish a new industrial development model centered around non-ferrous metal new materials, clean energy, and advanced machinery manufacturing equipment. Shan Yi also stressed the importance of prioritizing ecological sustainability and green growth, ensuring rigorous wastewater treatment and compliance with emission standards to achieve an organic balance among environmental, social, and economic benefits. Additionally, he highlighted the critical role of innovation and digital transformation in driving continuous improvements in corporate efficiency, competitiveness, and market positioning. Finally, Shan Yi underscored the need to maintain unwavering vigilance over workplace safety, rigorously enforcing all safety protocols to ensure smooth production while safeguarding employee well-being. He further committed to consistently enhancing the local business environment by delivering on promises, strengthening support services, and actively assisting enterprises in overcoming challenges, ultimately boosting their sense of satisfaction and confidence in doing business here.

At the site of the China Zhongdian Chaoyang 500 MW Photovoltaic Power Generation Project—a landmark initiative demonstrating grid parity for solar energy—Shan Yi engaged in discussions with company leaders before heading to the central control room to gain a thorough understanding of the automated production control systems. He noted that this project not only represents a major success in attracting investment and bringing a pioneering initiative to life but also stands out as a nationally recognized flagship renewable energy project. This, he emphasized, will play a clear demonstration and driving role in accelerating our city’s development of the new-energy industry. He stressed that all local departments must deeply embrace the development philosophy that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets," aligning with the provincial party committee’s vision for Chaoyang as a pioneering area integrated into the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development Strategy. By fully leveraging the region’s abundant wind and solar resources, Chaoyang should uphold the principle of coordinated development across energy sources, grids, end-users, and storage systems. This approach will ensure the steady and efficient advancement of clean energy projects, helping the city build a world-class clean-energy industry base capable of generating tens of millions of kilowatts of clean energy—thus injecting a continuous stream of clean power to fuel Chaoyang’s comprehensive revitalization and drive new breakthroughs.
