7 Month 4 In the afternoon, the Huazircon Safety Management Department and the Huaxiang Safety Management Department jointly organized activities for the two companies. 11 A unit involved in dust explosion risks 67 A group of employees participated in dust explosion safety training held at the multi-purpose hall of the China Zirconium Comprehensive Building.
During the training session, Wang Hao, Safety Supervisor from HuaZircon’s Safety Management Department, delivered a comprehensive presentation on dust explosion prevention, covering ten key areas: "the principles and fundamental knowledge of dust explosions, the conditions necessary for dust explosions to occur, common ignition sources found in production processes, the sequence of events during a dust explosion, the unique characteristics of dust explosions, factors influencing dust explosion risks, the potential hazards posed by dust explosions, fire-fighting strategies specific to dust-related incidents, safety requirements for workplaces handling combustible and explosive dusts, and relevant industry standards for dust management."
Additionally, drawing on the actual production scenarios of both companies, Wang Hao engaged in a lively discussion with the trainees about "common types of dust encountered in the company, the specific roles employees hold, and the corresponding control measures in place."
At the conclusion of the training, participants were assessed through a written exam to ensure they had fully grasped the material covered.
This training is not only an effective way for employees in specialized roles to deepen their safety knowledge and enhance their safety skills, but also a key component of the two companies' Safety Month activities.
